Item description

1981 Holden Commodore VC SLE An excellent example of an un-restored matching numbers and original engine VC SLE Commodore. These cars in this condition do not come along very often. For the collector or enthusiast who knows what they are looking for. This car is fitted with the 4.2 litre engine and a light blue velour interior. Features include electric windows, central locking, rear headrests, headlight wipers, headlight covers, bumper bar over riders, 15 inch alloy wheels, air conditioning and power steering. I am the third owner of this car which was originally sold to Mr V Belic of Mt Helen in Victoria on the 11th of August 1981 from Peter Amor Motors 6-16 Mair Street Ballarat Victoria The original registration number was BDL-181 (Victoria). The following is a list of parts replaced on the car by Mr Belic as far as I can trace with the original receipts included when I purchased the car • 2006, @ approximately 200,000km the camshaft and lifters were replaced as was the timing chain and the manifold gasket. • 2006, Carburettor was removed and overhauled. • 2007, Replaced heater hoses • 2008, New coil and plugs • 2009, Fuel tank removed and breather hoses replaced. The car was bought by a family friend of the Belics in 2011. When the registration ran out in 2012 the car was parked in a shed until 2014 whereby I purchased the vehicle and had it transported to its new home on the Sunshine Coast. The car has travelled roughly 5000km in the last 3.5 years. Since I have owned the car I have replaced the front shock absorbers, some rubbers and the bonnet has had a light re-spray due some paint fade. Paint on the roof is also aged, but paint on the rest of the car is in very good condition other than some stone chips and small dents as you'd expect on a car of this age. The only suggestion of rust is in the spare wheel well but that was nipped in the bud and protected when I first bought the car. Included are 6 service and repair manuals as well as the original owners manual. Price is somewhat negotiable but I will miss this car and am only selling as I would very much like to see this car go to someone who will appreciate it for the survivor it is. Car will have a major service completed before the sale. If sold in Queensland the car will come with RWC and registration.
