Loft-style room available in large share house in Dulwich Hill
Our beloved long time housemates got their own place
So we are looking for our next mate to move in -
250/week bills are not included however we do have solar and a battery so it's not much!
This is a completely queer house so you'll be sharing the place with 3 other people who cover the range of LGBT+, including the landlord, all of whom are friendly, chilled, and easy-going. We also have 5 little Maltese terriers and two kitties so being dog/cat friendly is a MUST.
The place is located right on New Canterbury Rd and
It is about a 10 minute walk to either Lewisham or Dulwich Hill train stations, with a bus stop right across the road with plenty of buses that go directly into Newtown, Marrickville, and the city.
A nice IGA and the Dulwich Hill village street is only a 5 minute walk away with lots of nice cafes, bars, shops, etc.
The main strip of Marrickville is also within easy walking distance (15 min walk).
The bedroom as shown in the pics, was originally a one level room with a very high ceiling,
That has been divided into a split level loft room, which pretty much doubled the floor space, with the double size bed on the top level and single bed below.
You have your own TV with Google chromecast, aircon/heater, as well as a comfy king single that doubles as a sofa, a desk, and a deskchair, and plenty of wardrobe/storage/shelf space. It's a very private, self-contained space so you can pretty much keep to yourself if you want to. You have a nice, modern bathroom that is only shared with one other housemate.
This is a pretty big house and the kitchen and living room have just been completely renovated!
It's a lovely sunny spot at the front and back of the house.
The house also has a lovely front yard which is a great spot to get some sun by the fish pond with your morning coffee, there is also a massive backyard/courtyard area with lots of space to chilll out amongst the plants.
